John Mayer just grows and grows
Last night, we saw The Damned in concert after 2 years and were blown away by the incredible performance of the man on stage. The great staging, balanced instruments, and awesome sound made for a fantastic show with a killer setlist. John's improved vocals and new skills, along with a brilliant acoustic set, were highlights of the night. Every second was loved!
The opening act received mixed reviews, leading some to arrive late. Despite this, many people enjoyed it. However, the overpowering bass and impersonal banter were drawbacks. The band's identity seemed uncertain, giving off a vibe of a teenage group still searching for their sound. Overall, not a CD purchase we'd be rushing to make.
